We bought this SUPA heater for our small above ground pool to allow us to use the pool all year round, I have health issues that require I stay fit, so I bungee swim.
We are utterly thrilled with it, the performance is excellent and phenomenonly cheaper than the alternative which is an all season electric heater that is several thousand pounds and more expensive to run.
We can run this heater through the winter for the same cost of a monthly good quantity gym membership and have the luxury of a private pool.

Sceptical due to all the excellent reviews and thought "it can't be that good" but paid my money and bought it.
To say it has transformed our Shepherds Hut turn-overs is a fact. In winter, emptying, cleaning, filling then heating the hot tub was a 4 hour labour - meaning we often missed the three hour turn over window.
But SUPA heater heats as it fills, and reduces the turn over with a pre-heat by 2 hours.
Can't recommend enough. Oh and many thanks to Mark who patiently replied to all my emails.
If you are a Hot Tub owner, Glamping site owner, this is a must buy. You won't regret it.

I have been using the SUPA heater for about 6 months I have 2 holiday cottages both with hot tubs and it makes double change overs possible both tubs ready to use by check in at 3pm.Amazing bit of kit. Simple to use easy to assemble and does exactly what it supposed to do.

I purchased a SUPA heater to heat the water in my out of the ground pool.
Pool volume: 9000 litres
Starting temperature 23.31 degrees
Target temp 33 degrees
6.12kg propane used @ £2.88 per kg (19kg bottle) = £17.63
I started off with Intex rubber solar panel mats. I then progressed to Steinback solar panels which are great when we have the sun (but still need a few days of constant sun to heat the water to the right temperature). I then purchased a coal fired stainless steel coil heater, this was very efficient, but the neighbours complained about the smoke (even though it was smokeless coal that I used)! This year we put our pool up and I looked at the weather for the wind direction to be ok to light the coal heater, the forecast for the next couple of weeks wasn’t good wind direction wise!! I googled propane powered pool heaters and your SUPA heater was one of the first on the search 😁. The rest is now history.
The SUPA heater took me about 2 hours to assemble.
I’m very impressed with the build quality and attention to detail that has been put into the design of the product.
From my point of view the SUPA heater is a total game changer, although the initial purchase price is quite high, I believe it is well worth the money.
In my opinion the cost of the initial heat up was well worth it, the water temperature will hopefully stay at a comfortable level, if it needs heating, I will use the solar panels (if the sun is shining) to supplement it, or the SUPA heater.
Last year we hardly used our pool as the temperature of the water wasn’t high enough, this year we will be able to use our pool whenever we like, whatever the weather. A water heat-up time for the 9000 litres 23 to 33 degrees in a fraction over 3 hours is a total “game changer”.
Mark was fantastic at responding to my emails, even over the weekend. Great advice given. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Running a 7500 litre swim spa wasn’t ever going to be cheap but we had ended up not using it as much as we’d like to due to the crazy price of electricity plus the way the electricity supplier work. A couple of days going to higher temperatures meant their system just did a multiple and cranked up the monthly payments to astronomical levels no matter how we explained the blip. By chance we found the SUPA and it’s been a game changer. Superb product, fantastic support from the main man and the attention to detail including the packaging was brilliant. Within the first day it’s been up and running and the swimming has begun again.
